Welcome to the Stamford-Norwalk Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc!
On behalf of the members of the Stamford-Norwalk Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, I
would like to welcome you to our website! The Stamford-Norwalk Chapter enjoys the fellowship of 57
families in the lower Fairfield County, Connecticut area, is extremely strong, and delivers a number of on-
going and special programs each year.
In June 2013, we will celebrate 50 years of service in the community. Our members share a rich history of
developing young leaders and partnering with our grater community. We work together toward the aims
of our Organization; to "create a medium of contact for children that will stimulate growth and
development; and to provide for children constructive educational, cultural, civic, health, recreational and
Local outreach efforts include initiatives such as food and clothing drives to benefit Food Banks, Hurricane
Relief for Sandy Hook Families, and community partnerships with the Union Baptist Church and 100 Black
Men of Stamford to combat hunger in Fairfield County.
Our most recent fundraising event was in May of 2012 and the Chapter held its fourth Biennial
Presentation Ball themed, "Celebrating Our Achievements...together". The 18 Debutantes and Beaus had
much to celebrate and brought joy to their families, honor to their schools, leadership to Jack and Jill, and
friendship with one another. By raising the bar financially, our Chapter made donations to K.I.D.S. (Kids in
Distressed Situations), and Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc.
It is an honor to be a part of an organization that has proven itself to be profoundly important and
impactful in children's lives. The members are committed to ensuring that the Stamford-Norwalk Chapter
continues in its proud traditions in the years to come. We will continue our legacy of service, solidarity,
and camaraderie shaped by its founding mothers and the generations for Chapter members that followed.
I invite you to navigate our website which highlights our many achievements. We offer many ways for
you to become involved through collaborative efforts, donations toward our programs, a sponsorship, or
by attending one of
our community events.
Working together to create tomorrow's leaders,
Ci Ci Holloway
